About the San Francisco Street Food Festival:
Love food? Then you’ll love this Event in San Francisco. The San Francisco Street Food Festival brings together some of the best cuisine in the City, and all of the proceeds are for a very good cause.
This Event in San Francisco is organized by La Cocina, a group dedicated to helping low-income and immigrant entrepreneurs get their food-related businesses off of the ground. Their program, called the business incubator program, has helped many in the community become successful business owners. Many of the vendors who take part in the Event are participants in the business incubator program.
All of the vendors are local and they are owner-operated. One purpose of the San Francisco Street Food Festival is to show attendees that you don’t have to visit the haunt of a 5-star chef in order to enjoy some of the City’s best food. The vendors who participate in this Event are sticklers for high-quality food, and fresh ingredients, and the results are simply delicious.
Admission to the event is free, but donations are accepted at the door. The vendors only accept 2 forms of payment: cash or pre-purchased Passport tickets. The Passport tickets can be purchased on the Event website starting at $30. Attendees who want to have access to the VIP Lounge or special events, such as the All-You-Can-Eat/Drink dinner, will need to purchase the appropriate Passport in advance.
